EOSET is an annual conference that brings together faculty and instructional designers from across eastern Ontario to share their best practices, challenges, and opportunities in using learning technology.
We have all experienced frustration using new technology in the class room, lab or lecture hall. Common problems may include lack of time, lack of support, or difficulty seeing the most advantageous use of a particular technology or medium. We, as educators, need to have a community of interests who share the desire to improve our respective learning environments through the critical and effective use of educational technology.
Multimedia, web applications, learning objects and information management are just some of the areas discussed in EOSET.
We hope that the strength of this gathering is the diversity and range of experiences across member institutions and the commonality of problems and their solutions.
